Robert Joseph, creator of Sélection des Châteaux is one of the most widely experienced and respected members of the global wine fraternity.

 

After growing up in a family hotel in Britain, he lived in Burgundy for five years before returning to the UK to launch Wine International magazine and the International Wine Challenge which became the biggest wine competition in the world.

 

As a wine writer, he wrote a weekly column for the London Sunday Telegraph and over 20 books, including the Complete Encyclopedia of Wine, French Wines, the Wines of the Americas, Bordeaux & its Wines and the annual Good Wine Guide.

Joseph appears regularly on radio and television and has one many awards, including the Marques de Caceres, Glenfiddich and Golden Vine.

 

He is a member of La Commanderie du Bontemps de Médoc et des Graves, de Sauternes et Barsac and a Chevalie de Tastevin
